Hard to believe the season is almost out for another year. I can’t wait to get back into my Brema Group Toyota 86, which will be the last time for this category before I move into Super3 for 2020!
I had one of my most successful weekends at Newcastle last year – even though it was a track I was unfamiliar with. I qualified 9th and managed to move further up the grid as the weekend went on, finishing with a 7th and 4th. I had an unfortunate off in the final race, but hopefully I can emulate those results this year and see the weekend out on a high!
This track has a bit of everything, fast flowing with lots of tight corners and of course; has great views too! It’s a great track to finish the season on.
My goal this weekend is to stay out of the hustle and bustle (as it always is) and hopefully qualify well again so that I can continue pushing my way through the pack and sit consistently inside the top 10 and maybe even sneak into the top 5.
A big thanks to all my sponsors and especially Brema Group, I wouldn’t be here without you all! Let’s finish this weekend on a high.
I hit the track for Practice 1, Friday 22nd November at 9:30am.
