I am really looking forward to getting out there and tackling The Mountain again! After last year, I feel like there’s some un-finished business. Last year, I had a relatively fast car and was running fairly well, until the issue with my roll cage and we had to borrow a replacement car! Hopefully this weekend, we can stay out of trouble and fight towards the pointy end of the grid.
I thoroughly enjoy this circuit – as do most people. It’s fast flowing and really demanding, but so much fun. The atmosphere is awesome too, it’s like another world. I have been doing as much preparation as I can in the lead up to this round. I’ve done a fair few hours on my sim and also done some training to ensure I’m fit and ready.
My main aim this weekend is to stay out of all the hustle and bustle and focus on staying at least inside the top 15 consistently. Qualifying will be key this weekend, so I’ll be looking to make the most of qualifying to ensure I put myself in a good position come the races.
A big thanks to all my sponsors and supporters too! It’s absolutely mega to be driving at one of the most iconic tracks in the world and I am forever grateful.
I hope to see you all there!
